Without pretending too much or being too classical, this is good value for money: a modern formal pair of shoes, perfect in the morning or in the afternoon, under a formal suit, in dry season.

Tried a pair of these on to replace a trusty pair of Clarks, the fit was superb. Unfortunately after about 2 months the rubber heal (on the right shoe) developed a vertical split and started to separate from bottom of the shoe. Brantano's replaced them with-out question and ordered me a new pair. 2 Months later same thing happened on the new pair, this time on both the left and right shoe. Normally a pair of Clarks would last 18 months plus. For a shoe that felt such good quality and fit so well I was very disappointed. Returned the second pair and won't be buying HP's again.

Unfortunately, I have encountered the same problem as Adrian King...I purchased these on 18th May and today, 30th June, the rubber heel on the right shoe has developed a vertical split and started to separate from the upper. They are very comfy shoes but I can't afford to be replacing them every 6 weeks!
