Hush Puppies Women's Foxhound bootI ordered these in brown 9th Nov & they arrived on the 11th Nov,I'm over 5' 10'' & find them a reasonably good length in the leg although they are cut for a shorter leg as the calf-shaped part is slightly lower than my calf but still roomy enough for me.The soles are a type of crepe so no tread as such,not sure what that means if floor/pavement is slippy.

I was pleased with the boots. Amazed with the service from Amazon, faultless. I do have quite slim calves and I do agree that the boot is quite stiff and a generous fit around the top but I think they look great. I particularly adore the material, the colour and the comfort of them.

really nice looking boots if a little on the large size. Ihave quite slim legs and the calf bit of the boot is huge on me, i can get my hand in. These boots are for those with muscular or chunky calfs. If you look at the profile picture you will see what i mean

A little disappointing - not in quality, which is good, but in style. Around the instep/inner ankle area they are very baggy and stiff so look rather like a wellington boot. Maybe it is something I will get used to but because of this I feel that they are not particularly smart. I did read about this in other reviews but as I have not got particularly skinny ankles, I thought it worth the risk.

I ordered these in black and in a five. I usually take a 5.5/6 so hoped they would still fit as they were pull ons. When I saw them I thought they were lovely and doubted I'd get them on. Unfortunately like other reviews they are quite generous for a five especially around the ankle and calf. They would have been better if they had a normal side zip. I had to send them back because there was so much room around the calf.
